Hey aislin… my stuff sucks so far too. It’s like anything, it takes practice.
Try this as an experiment first.
A) copy one of the “basic guys” from earlier in this thread, to a blank BMP in photoshop. This will give you a perspective of size.
B) go out into your yard and look at stuff that’s out there. Find something cool that you would like in your own lawn and sit and stare at it for a while.
C) when you think you have a good mental image (or if you can take a photo of it) go back to photoshop and start drawing it as best you can.
I have to admit that it’s harder than I origionaly thought… but I did come up with a half way decent fountain last night.

I made a new image of myself, Darker hair, long sleeve shirt (because I wouldn’t be caught dead with sleaves that short) Boots instead of shoes, and a cig in my hand. I’ll post that when I can.
My plot is coming along nicely actually. Patience and editing is what is required. I’ve had to extend my property though. I hope that’s alright. It’s still a square, but it’s four times the regular plot size. I didn’t have enough room for the rock garden or the Quoi pond.
I’m doing a Chinese Temple motif. I’ve always felt very relaxed among the bamboo and ricepaper buildings.
Anyone want to try making a Budha statue for me? I’m having trouble making one that looks like green jade.

im not that good at pixel art… actually, i’ve never done any pixel drawing before, yet, i’ll still try to ‘build’ something in kirupaville… do you a ‘kirupian high-school’ would be a good idea to build on my block?
