i recently constructed a gallery using the sbeener code on the kirupa tutorials. the images that are included on the gallery are quite large, and although they take no time at all to appear using a broadband connection, the old 56k modems take ages to download the imagery. i was browsing a website that had a gallery similar to the one i’m trying to create, and on there it has a percentage loaded graphic that appears before each image is shown, showing the viewer how long its going to take for the image to appear. this is what i want for my gallery, how can i achieve this??
my knowledge of flash is very limited and i consider myself as a bit of a beginner. i’m wondering if anybody could give me any help.
