can anyone tell me how to automatically skip to the next page after the movie clip finishes playing ???

well, there are no pages in movieclips instead you have scenes and frames.
When you finish playing a scene or transfer the play head to another location when it reaches a specific frame, use the gotoAndStop(), or gotoAndPlay(), functions and that is about it.
check the actionscript dictionary for more instructions about gotoAndStop or gotoAndPlay fucntions…
I think he may be talking about going to a external page after a movieclip has ended, either that or he.she means what you just said.
Basically on the last frame of your movie clip either do something like the sign advised
gotoAndPlay(frame#here);
or use getURL()
getURL("http://site.com","_blank"):
