I’m currently writing a paper for my 21A.336 class - Marketing, Microchips & McDonalds: Debating Globalization.
I have a paper due next wednesday, and I have to discuss some of the economic transformations that occurred over the 80s and 90s, particularly - how have work and lives been transformed?
But the cool thing about this is that I can write FICTION! So I can make up a story that has to do with the topic. So, let me ask you this (and especially for those living outside the US). Do you remember the time before the internet? How was your life different (for better or worse)? Does your life differ greatly from that of your parents? Do they possibly understand what you do? Do you feel that you have to explain the world to them? And more importantly… got any funny stories?
I hope you can help me out. I’ll post my paper when it’s done.
