small problem !!!
i have my movie running in scene 1, in frame 45 i have put a movie clip and set a button on scene 1 to start playing the clip on cue. i have put another movie clip in frame 46 again with a button in scene 1 to cue that clip. i have an identical button in movie clip 1 that should activate movie clip 2, BUT !! it doesnt. it just keeps playing itself again, although there are stops commands & there is no reason i know of why it shouldnt run movie clip 2. what am i doing wrong ??? anybody ??? i have instance named my buttons & m/clips but still doesnt work, when i click on a button in m/clip 1 to jump to m/clip 2, it just replays m/clip 1 from the start ???
