Alrighty, this has been driving me nuts for days! I want to move a symbol with the arrow buttons, similar to your demo with the ladybug, EXCEPT that i have 4 movie clips i’d like to attribute to the keypresses as well as the direction. I have a movie clip of a person walking down, up, left and right and when the user presses down, up, left and right i’d like the appropriate movie clip to come into play. but when no buttons are being pressed there would just be the symbol (or movie clip i guess it doesn’t matter) of the person just standing still. also, i don’t know action script 3, so 2.0 would be preferable.
