my basic question is how can i move an object (movie clip) from current position to a set location using action script.
What i’m looking to acomplish is I would have 3 buttons in a movie clip with set locations to move that movie clip to. When you click on a button, it would move the movie clip from its current location (which could be any of the buttons locations) to the new location. I’m not quite sure how to make it so that action script detects current location and moves it to new, so that it moves smoothly around the screen and not jumping from spot to spot.
if anyone could direct me to a tutorial or anything useful, it would be much appriciated. Thanks in advance.
