Hey. About a month back, FF somehow killed all my bookmarks. I’ve decided to do a photogallery on my site and had a site bookmarked that offered a shareware flash-based photo gallery. It utilised xml and was overall pretty slick. I suspect I found the site originally from one of the various CSS (cssvault, cssbeauty, stylegala, unmatched style) sites I frequent, but I can’t find the link from there. The site had an all black background with a starburst on it somewhere (I think for the price). The gallery was very customizable.
Here’s the weird thing - I’ve tried every permutation I can think of in Google and can’t find this darn site. I know for a fact that the software was only $20 USD and it was a single-person created sort of thing. I can’t remember the name, unfortunately. In desperation, I even tried (shudder…) MSN search to no avail. In the process, I came across several nice alternatives like Plasmodo, Airtight Interactive’s SimpleViewer (which I’ll likely use failing my search) and an inexpensive one that works with JAlbum called Fotoplayer. The one I had found was quite similar to Fotoplayer, actually.
Sorry I can’t give more info - if anyone knows of the package I’m trying to describe, I’d be very grateful…
