Ok, I would not normally post this kind of stuff here, but my wife is begging me. My niece is a Girl Scout, and it is cookie sale time. Now, the deal is, if they sell 300 boxes they get a patch to put on their uniform. So, when they went around asking each girl how many they were going to sell, they all said 300, except my niece. She said 900!
Now she joined Girl Scouts just for the sole honor of selling cookies. (I guess she was impressed by other Girl Scouts she saw selling them). When I heard that she said 900, I was proud of her goal, and determined to help her as much as I could. I personally am buying 20 boxes. Now, the part that got me really “motivated” was that her troop leader tried to talk her out of it and told her that 900 was too high a goal and she should lower it. She was heartbroken. Now, isn’t the point of Scouts to motivate kids to succeed? What the hell is, “your goal is too high”? Why not, “hey that is a great goal, I hope you reach it”.
So, if you want to help her reach her 900 box goal and show her troop leader whats what, PM me. Here is a link to see the cookie types http://www.littlebrowniebakers.com/cookies/cookies.html and they are $3.50 a box.
Here is a picture of her to pull at your heart strings :thumb2:
