First post so maybe I am at the wrong section but…
Need some help on something that is probably very easy but I have some difficulties with. I have a homepage that can load external SWF files. (Well, not yet!) Reason is that all my
buttons that are supposed to do that are XML and AS driven.
In the XML file I have the different nodes that make up the buttons. The actionscript
assembles them. (Old story)
Questions:
*How can I make these (XML driven)buttons to act as the “load SWF” buttons? I figure this is done in my XML script? (action=“somethingsimilartogotoURL”? Or maybe AS? Please advise…
- For some reason, while testing what I have this far, my external SWF does load *but not *
within my holder_MC! It’s stretched out and is bigger than the holder_MC. ?? Publish
settings? (Neither Flash player or browser)
I do use the loadBitmapData class to fill up my homepage with a tile. Has probably nothing to do with that. Help?
