I have a main website swf called “index.swf”. When you click on menu button within the index.swf the website loads an external swf to the container on the stage. For example, if you click on the products button flash loads the external products.swf to the container on the stage. The problem that I am having is when I simulate the download of the site and click on, lets say the products button, all of the buttons on the index.swf become inactive until the products.swf loads to the container on the stage.
Is there any way that if the user changes their mind and no longer wants to view the products page, that they do not have to wait for it to download before they can click on another button?
I am using Flash CS5 and AS3.
