Help! Walking up stairs, is this possible?

I know how you can obviously get an mc to walk, or move across the screen with AS. But what if I wanted him to be actually able to walk up stairs. And I mean like walk up them as in, you can keep walking and walk right up them as opposed to having to jump up them or something like that. Is this possible at all? If it is I’m guessing it’s complicated. Thanks in advance :).
