Right now I am doing a practicum for my college course (multimedia productions) at a middle school. As this year is the 25th anniversary of Terry Fox, they are really focused on him and what he tried to do. Previously I made a map of Canada (in Flash) which tracked how far the kids ran each day, and eventually they ran accross Canada. Now they want to “run around the world”. I had a friend make a 3D modle of the globe and put it into Flash for me. Currently the globe spins, and what we wish to do is somehow (with an arrow) show our progress of how far the kids run. I’m thinking we’re going to have to put the arrow on a layer above the globe…so the arrow looks like it is around the globe…but I was just wondering if anyone could help with the codeing…I hope I’m making sense.
