Hi, I’m still new at this flash thing. I want to add a link to a URL in a scrolling text box on a word. Most of what I have read about URL links is that you must create a button symbol. Is there a way to create a link on plain text? If not, how do I add a button symbol inside of a scrolling text box?
What you are looking for is ‘asfunction’ that will enable a link with appropriate action within the text field… As indojepang said, do the search on the forum with that term to find more information… Drop by anytime if you have problem using it… :cowboy:
you know what? I have YET to find anything that does anything like that… all the times I’ve asked I’ve been pointed to tutorials that don’t work… if you find one that DOES work, tell me… cause I’m DYING to know…
Well… Yes… There isn’t much of this ‘asfunction’ questions in the forum… But I have found a good one…
I know there are some more good ones in www.ActionScript.org’s forum area which you might want to check out…
If nothing helps at all, I doubt it since pom already answered most of the questions with some sample, give me more detail and I’ll help you have working one… :cowboy:
