Ok, here is the deal.
I’m using the FLVPlayback component in a .swf file inside the FlVPlayback component I’m embedding the path to the movie in the contentPath field; I tried both relative and absolute links. There is also a skin for the FLVPlayback component as a .swf file. So I have the player swf file, skin swf file, and the flv movie located in the same directory on the server. When I put the html file that calls on the player swf file in a different location but it points to the player swf file. The flash is not working it’s not playing the flv. But if I put the html file in the same location as all the other files then it works like a charm. What is the deal? Has anyone experienced this problem? All the links point to the files the right way so what can it be. I need to serve this flv file on different pages how do I accomplish that? Oh, yes the pages are on the same servers but in different directories.
