Ok, first off - I’m not all that great with flash but hopefully I won’t make it sound too complicated.
Basically, as you might have guessed I’m trying to make a scrolling gallery. I found this tut and have used it in the past but I want to add more elements to it this time.

I know it’s pretty old but as I had used it before I just stuck with it.
Now then, I want to create a section below that masked scrolling menu so when you click on each different coloured square, a larger image appears in the new section. I have made each square a thumbnail of an image and turned them into a movie clip so I can rollover and animate. Although I have trouble with the large images appearing as they also follow the x_mouse position, but I want them to be static in that new section. How do I achieve this?
If I have made a complete disaster of explaining this I can provide screenshots or videos to help.
