Using hga77’s excellent xml menu for a site. It currently allows a button click to load content into a movie clip you specify in the code, then you specify the target swf in the xml. I was wondering if it would be possible for some lines of actionscript to be passed in from the xml when a link is clicked, so the menu links can perform a number of tasks, rather than just loading a movie into the specified clip.
I’ve been thinking of setting up an ‘instructions’ clip so swfs containing actionscript can be loaded in on clicking a link, but it would be cleaner to load in straight from the xml and have it run immediately … any ideas?!
