Hi score recording

I’ve made a game but i would like to make a high score thingy for it. You know? When the user loses, the score can be recorded? Does anyone out there know a tutorial on where i can learn how to do this? Kirupa only have has to keep score, but it doesn’t ‘record’ the score and have it viewable later. I know there is asp or xml involved but i don’t know how to write any of that. can anyone help?
