Yes! It’s finally happened. I just got through installing and testing several homebrew apps for my PSP. It runs apps/games created specifically for it very well, and it emulates pretty well too. I got an SNES emulator on it and with a few setting tweaks, it works amazingly.
It requires two memory sticks, I went out and bought a 256 mb MS duo just for this and it is the best 50 bucks I have ever spent. This is awesome. Hopefully this will pave the way for a linux distro for the PSP.
For anyone looking for info on exactly how to do it, do a search on Engadget, it was posted yesterday (I believe).
