Why is it every time I send out a proposal/contract for the client to sign, I go thru it 45 times, send it to my brother to look at, look at it again another 50 times, finally send it off to the client, then think for hours that I proposed too many $$, or that I underbid the gig so much that I won’t make any money on it after I pay my subs out?
Usually I know that I have a 85% chance of getting the gig by the time I have to put together a flow chart and proposal (my contract is a part of the proposal, along with a Conf. Agmt).
I sent out a proposal tonite that I am 95% sure I have the gig (I am the 1 of 2 bidding, and I am 30% of the other bidder), but I still am nervous that the client won’t sign, that it’s too much…
So why do I do this, when I’m sure I’ve not overbid by any means?
anyone? Buehler?
