How do I make smilies appear in text box

how do I make smilies appear in text box??
flash 5 does not recognise all html code so calling an << img src =“smillies.jpg” >> is not possible. ( had to use double chevrons I apologise:) )
what else can I do?

text boxes are for text. You can’t place images inside of them.

Unless of course the text includes a smiley face,

which reminds me, I have asked this question before and never got an answer…
Does anyone remember a download for fonts for flash. I remember looking at it and passing on the download and I have been kicking myself ever since because I can’t find it.

I am sure it would include text with a smiley face if that motivates anybody.

but It was at macromedia. I am sure of it and It was like hundreds of font sets.

I am beginning to think it was in a dream.

ok well—that site doesnt have any smilies as fonts,

does anyone else have any flash 5 font “do-it-yourself” urls to make my own fonts up and incorporate simple smilies myself???

keeping my fingers crossed (-matches my eyes)
