How do I use a fixed height background at the bottom of a page?

I have an overall background image using CSS, but I also want to use a gradient image background at the bottom of the page. I tried using the ApDiv to do it, but it keeps positioning the background to the bottom of the browser height, instead of the page height. Anyone know how I can resolve this? Thanks!
