How do you do this?

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knows how to pull off this effect found here: http://www.templatemonster.com/website-templates/4313.html. I want the wave wipe up effect that can be seen right after the guy disappears. I know I could buy the template where I saw the effect, but I actually want to learn how to do it. If anyone knows of a site that has that effect, or what I would google to find something similar, that would be helpful. Thanks, Jonathan
