The name says it all, how did you learn the basics of actionscript and how are you expanding your knowledge of it? I am very new when it comes to actionscripts, yet I do realize the potential power and benefits the actionscript can bring to my Flash works. Thus, I do want to learn more and become proficient at it. The closest education I have when it comes to something like this is the beginner’s course on C++ which as allowed me to read and understand all the actionscripts I have found in this website thus far. However, I have yet to make my own actionscripts without having to copy/paste + modify existing actionscripts found in this site. At this point, I have no issues or concerns about that, but what I am wondering is how I am suppose to learn actionscripts. So far, I have been learning about actionscripts by looking at other’s work and tutorials and then recreating it with some modifications. As of right now, I just want to build a base to acquire the ability to create basic actionscripts without the need of others.
