How do you make a movieclip point at another movieclip?

hi guys im making a survivorial game.i want to make a turrent at points and shoot at the characterkinda like when a turrent that points at an bad guy in a tower defence game.but i dont know how.and all this internet searching is driving me nutscan someone please post a code in their reply.
