i got my preloader built “using lost in betas tutorials” how i add my movie to it?? :hangover:
I’ve run into this in a somewhat backwords way before. I had the movie made, then had to add the preloader. This is what I did. I opened both of them up, then in the movie, inserted blank keyframes for where my preloader would go. Then I went back to the preloader and cut and pasted all the frames from the preloader into the movie. Flash will automatically transfer everything from library to library.
However, now I just get into the habit of doing the preloader first, then making the movie right next to it.
The easiest way to make a movie w/ preloader is to start the movie on say frame 5. That way if you have any static references to frames, you don’t have to change them if you add in a few loader frames at the beginning.
You can add frame labels and key the preloader to that so even if you are moving stuff around on the timeline it will still work
