How is this done!

I want to have the navigation and display of my work to be something similar to what it is on HERE I am a super beginner at flash and am not really sure how to execute what I want to do, people tell me its xml, others say its an animation, others say its seperate buttons for each projects and others tell me its one file.

If someone could shine some light on this and tell me what the easiest way to execute this or places I could find some sample or ideas.

Now what about the display of his work… the preload then pop up

Try searching throughout kirupa.com and kirupaforum.com. There’s like a billion preloader questions/tuts out here. If you’re new to flash you shouldn’t be going for complex things.
