How to achieve this effect

anyone know how to achieve the following effect in flash

i got a picture and i wan to reveal the image with each square peeling off one by one ,

i think maybe is using masking and alpha tweening… jus my guess…

hope someone can understand what i mean.

create a movie clip of the peel-off effect and put them on top of the picture, set your timeline with frames so that the movieclips play one by one.

Alternatively, make the peel-off movieclip, place them on the picture then use actionscript to set them off at random or in sequence.
