My computer has crashed. I have lost the original fonts. How could add fonts to Flash MX? Additionally, where could I go to get a large collection of fonts? Thanks.
Download fonts and you should get a file of the type ttf.
For example, veranda.ttf.
If you’re using Windows, just copy these files into the Fonts folder in your Windows Folder and they are automatically installed. You can then use them in Flash.
I recommend Pixel Fonts from www.fontsforflash.com or just type Pixel fonts into Google. There are many free ones available.

I have checked my fonts directory under windows. It has nearly 300 fonts, .ttf. But only 30-40 fonts shows up in Flash.

Oh. That’s odd. I don’t know about that. Do all the fonts show up in MSWord, and your other applications?
Nope, only 30-40 fonts shows up in the other applications too. Do you think those other fonts are corrupted?

this is the same problem im experiencing now, so i dug it out of the ethers of the forums 
– have many many fonts installed, few showing up in flash, mainly i have 5 pixel fonts installed, and only 1 shows up, and that 1 is a photoshop pixel font i believe
never mind, i got it working, pieced together about 8 forum topics heh (scarey how much info is in the forum history, oooo)
