Don’t get it…How to combine the Menu with Slider Tutorial ( http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/menu_with_slider.htm ) with the [url=“http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/button_effect.htm”][color=black]Complex Button RollOut/RollOver Effects[/color] ( [url=“http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/button_effect.htm”]http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/button_effect.htm ) Tutorial?
I want my buttons-symbol to be movieclips, but when i do that the slider stops working for me…
i see the difference in the actionscipt @ the button, because at the tutorial i have to add
on (rollOver) {
slider.xMove = button_2._x;
}
but so far as i see that doesn’t work with movie clips?!
What should i change?

EDIT: If i change the symbol into button the slider works… but the mouseover anim doesn’t…(thats clear)
what am i doing wrong?
