Hey I don’t know if this is the right board, but I am making a game for my portfolio and I can’t seem to get the left and right walk cycle down. I’m just confusing myself and need a fresh eye to give me some advice.

Make sure you click on the flash movie so you can ensure that you will control him properly. Use the arrow keys to move around.
I think my up and down animations look really nice but the left and right ones look like he is shuffling or dancing or something.
Can anyone give me some pointers? Maybe a reference sheet for making easy walk cycles?
