Hey peoples. :beam:
a quick questioN!
I have a NavBar movie clip that contains 5 smaller movieclips that animate and send you to a new frame (“page”) on my main timeline when clicked. The main NavBar has a simple movement animation that I want to play when the movie is loaded AND each time the user enters the new frame.
The animation plays fine the first time the file loads. but after that Flash figures it’s already loaded that mc and only displays the NavBar once the user starts hopping frame to frame.
I have new keyframes containing the mc on each frame it jumps to. So then I tried just inserting a blank keyframe inbetween the frame jumps. So, eg I have original content on frame #1, #5 and #10, I’d insert blank keyframes on frame #4 and #9. This actually got Flash to reload the NavBar and play it’s movement animation, but suddenly (after the first frame) the smaller mc’s inside the NavBar don’t … play. I mean the keyframe is an exact copy of the one on frame 1, but it’s like they’re not there or deactivated…
Anyway to do this? Seems like it should be simple enough… some easy “reload” thing in the code or something?? I tried it, but I’m not a genius at that stuff. yet :rocker:
