How do you save cookies in a flash game???
I am trying to save words, not stats. I am trying to make a flash word program that’s dumb but saves prints and so on.
well, there are two ways to do this (that I know of), I’m not sure what you’re doing – is it a game or a word program?-- but the two options that you have are through a server side language like PHP, or through Flash’s localObject or something like that. I’ve never used the flash one, so you’ll have to look up what it’s really called, I’m pretty sure that it’s local . <something>
edit: whoops, didn’t see this was in Flash 5, I think the flash way is only available in MX and above, so you’ll probably have to use PHP or ASP or something.
