So I’ve created my site based around the tutorial, “Photo Gallery using XML and Flash” here at kirupa.com. (Thank you so much for this website by the way! It is such a great help to designers without a great deal of flash programming experience).
I now would like to add a section showcasing my motion graphics projects using the same setup. Ultimately I wanted to be able to have it mixed - some files jpegs while some were vids. I was hoping I could just slap a quicktime movie (with H.264 encoding) file reference into the xml file instead of a jpg file… Apparently that was wishful thinking. When I do this the flash file just hangs once you click on the thumbnail linked to the movie.
Anyone know of some extra code I’m missing to be able to do this.
I’m using Flash CS3. Any point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
