I’ve just started learning Flash, and I was wondering if it would be really troublesome to have some sorta “updates” section on a personal flash website… So thereotically a user would have to re-download the entire flash swf again just because you added a sentence or two to the updates section?
Is there a way in Flash where you can just put in some actionscript to make it retrieve and display the contents of a txt file (eg: updates.txt)
Or are there any alternative ways to a solution?
I’m thinking there probably is a solution to this, but I’m just itching too badly to find out the workaround to this. Thanks
