We are considering using the 25" TouchSmart PC for a Kiosk application, to save money. Usually we use large LCD Touch displays with a separate PC, running the driver software that lets us determine how to interpret the touch response…
Has anyone tried using the TouchSmart with fullscreen Flash projectors?
I realize HP wants to try to create their own development platform for it…but I have a few questions:
- Can you change settings for the Touch response? We want the typical Press / Release / Drag options in Flash
- Can you turn off the Circle-around-the mouse effect (which I assume makes a Right-Click)?
- DOes it work at all? We tried to test it at the store, and our Projector was unresponsive in FullScreen mode. Also, the image was distorted strangely. In window mode the buttons worked, but there was no “Press”, just a “release” and a “Drag”.
I’d appreciate anyone’s experience or advice on this PC!
