I have a (maybe) strange question:
I don’t seem to be able to display htmlText. I have tried it both with externally loaded text and loadVars and directly in a textfield without anything extra except myTextfield.html = true; and myTextfield.htmlText = “Display this text”;
Everything displays fine as long as I use text and not htmlText. When tracing the externally loaded text it outputs the text with tags and everything but it doesn’t show in the textfield.
Could I have some sort of bug or could I have ruined something? Should I try reinstalling Flash? Or is there something I could be overlooking?
I have used htmlText before without problems with the same (installed) program, but it’s over a year ago.
