Hey, so, I’m sure everyone has been to hulu.com. Who can say no to free video, right? Anyway, I work for a very small web design company and my boss needs a redesign for our business site. He is interested in a slideshow for our homepage that is similar to the one on Hulu’s homepage. I have been searching around all morning looking for a method or tutorial with no luck.
Now, I have a working knowledge of flash, enough to modify some AS2, build scrollers, follow a tutorial, and stuff like that, but I can’t write my own code. That said, the Hulu slideshow looks complicated to me. it scrolls, there’s some method of tracking the position of the whole array of images and which image you’re viewing, and some method of calling up images and scrolling over to their position with the little buttons below it.
I’m not looking for a miracle here but if someone would be willing to point me in the right direction it’d be much appreciated.
