I have found us a chat

Recently I’ve been messing around with the communication functions MX apparently has. As a result, I allied with ahmed with client to client projects. As he was introducing me to some of the examples and concepts, he showed me a chat client that he hosted on his own computer. I was quite impressed because not only could you chat, but you can also video conference, granted that you have a camera and mic. Next time I see him online, i’m going to ask for that client and serve it on my own computer. (you can even customize the interface;)).

I’m very very interested in this process Thor. I’ve already decided that if I have a bbq with Kirupians, I MUST live stream it out.

I guess my question is, do I need anything other than Flash, my DSL line, and a camera?

Has he writen anything tutorial like on the process yet?

well, he himself didn’t write the client. he was just showing me some of the stuff he found. and regarding what you need, those three are exactly what i have right now. :wink:

and for the bbq, i don’t know if jubba’s said anything about my presence, but it’s looking to be likely. you said early august right?

Laurie has been dying to go to phili, we’ve also been dying to bbq. Likely both will be happening in August. I’ll be very pleased if we do a bbq and you show my friend.

I think Williamsburg, if that’s there, but definitely I want to look on the original capitol… do some sight seeing around the city, that sort of thing. Right now it’s up in the air.

well we were trying to get a meeting together with Lost, Thor David and I so we could get details for our meeting, but David didn’t have AIM so Thor found that chat thing. We were using that and it had video enabled. So thor found a camera and hooked himself up. But he didn’t have a stand so he just kept spinning the camera around… terrible. Lost and I got dizzy…
