Ok, I am a programmer, and I don’t have an ounce of artistic ability, but none the less I am trying to understand Flash MX. I have been trying to do the Photo Gallery tutorial, but I can’t get it to work. So, I just downloaded the example and added my images. Works fine. However, I am trying to understand how things are working. The thing really blowing me away is how the arrows change color when you hover over and click them. I have been looking everywhere, but I can’t see where this is happening.

if you go to the main timeline and double-click on one of the arrows, then select the frame in the “over” state of the button, you’ll notice that the arrow is now blue. you can change this color to whatever you want!
