I personally have an iPod, and so far have had a good experience with it. Music transfer is very fast, I can upload a few hundred songs in a minute or so. (If you have USB 2.0) It also has nifty features like games, a calendar, a contacts list, and an alarm clock. The included earbuds have better sound quality than any other’s I have seen that come with a product. The design is of course, sleek, and people will recognize what you have and point at you when you walk down the street. (That happened to me before!)

My sister has a Dell DJ (15GB) and I have played around with it. It seems like it would be ok, but it has alot less features.

I’ve heard good things about this iRiver product, but look at the name. The capitalization with the “i” and the rest of the word is the same as the iPod. Seems like a copy off. The design on it doesn’t seem as intuitive or impressive visually.

I’ll give you this: Steve Jobs does make all of his products beautiful in every way, but the price makes me loose all interest, I’m poor, or, poor enough
