Ok I’m a Graphic Designer Photoshop & Illustrator who was entrusted with the task of creating a website for the company I presently work for. I was always interested in Flash but never had the time. Needless to say now I have to learn Flash. I bought some learning tuts from the net but they haven’t been as helpful as I had expected. Anyway this is what I’m trying to do; I have the company logo cut up into small tiles and as the page loads I want the tiles to fall into place randomly/in sequence it doesn’t matter. I’ve converted all the squares to movieclips in Flash CS3. I tried to just load them using the timeline having them fade in but that took way too long.(There are 60+ tiles) Is there a way that I can load the tiles of the logo externally while also having them fall in the right place all while manipulating the alpha properties as they load? or Should I just scrap my “Ideas of Grandeur?” Oh and I’m not asking for code I’m just looking to be lead in the right direction or and idea of how to get this done. I’ve learn alot through trial and error and feel that works best for me (nothing like working on something and finally getting it to work in Flash) :0 Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out on this.
