Hallo, this is something I found out recently, but I cannot find any explanation:
when showing an image on IE the colours look different than in Firefox or Opera, much darker than the original file.
Why is this happening? The problem is quite annoying when there’s an image fading to a solid background, where the colour is given with css. In Firefox and Opera everything works well, but in IE you can se a colour step between the image and the background (and I’ve seen this happens also with safari)
Does anyone know something about it?

Which version of IE are you using? I used to have a similar problem with IE6.
