I want to apply a “Feathered” effect to the edges of an object in PS like the one in Illustrator. I know you can select an object using something like the marquee and on the option panel change the feathered effect but this is a lot different then the one in illustrator (i think), im pretty sure the one in PS is just to smooth out edges where smoothing out edges in Illustrator makes a faded kind of effect. Does anyone know what i mean? Can you give this effect in PS?
