Hello all. Been a while since I posted anything on Kirupa.
I’m having a bit of a problem. The issue seems to be I’m about as useful with Illustrator CS4 as an [insert topical analogy here]…
I’m currently attempting to design a kind of retro wedding invite (for myself and my partner) and have an idea of some hand drawn kind of motif. I was thinking I might then just take some quick photos of this and somehow, magically, paths would appear in illustrator from which I could basically cut and shut something that didn’t look like I was a complete tool…
I appear to have failed.
Could anyone offer me some quick, easy steps that any drunken oaf might be able to follow in order for me to achieve anything like what I just described…
