virus writers probably know more than enough about PCs to not open attachments from people they don’t know :wink:

the dumbest viruses I recieved

one with the attachment “jpg.exe”

another one telling me not to open the attachment, if I am not [person whatever], because this is privat.

and another standard virus I recieved about 3 days ago with the text
"Dear friend , use this Internet Explorer patch now!
There are dangerous virus in the Internet now!
More than 500.000 already infected!"
(the virus in the attachment got already removed by my e-mail provider :stuck_out_tongue: )

thats actually quite clever, knowing the basic instinct of many of the people of this world, they would open the attachment faster if they knew it was the private business of someone else…
