I have been a PC user my entire life and have finally decided to give Mac a try. I won’t be getting it for a couple of months yet but I was curious about which you might recommend. I am mainly considering the 20" iMac ($1199). Here are the basic specs:
* 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
* 1GB memory
* 250GB hard drive1
* 8x double-layer SuperDrive
* ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB memory
My main question is, how well do big apps like Photoshop CS3 run on it? Would you recommend any upgrades in memory or video card?
I would like to hear from those of you who have experience with the iMacs.

* 320GB hard drive1
* 8x double-layer SuperDrive
* ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB memory
However, that one is $300 more at $1499 and I would really like to save the money if the cheaper one can run big apps smoothly.
Any additional info about iMacs would be appreciated as well. I’m excited about the change to Mac!!!
