I am trying to replicate an effect I saw on a site, I can’t remember the site and have no idea on the code, but it was done without the use of flash.
I have some thumbnail pictures (linked to other pages & images) that I want the alpha dimmed below 100% until you mouseover at which point they are 100%. So effectively they “light up” on mouse-over.
Does anybody know how to do this?
I know this can be done easily in flash or by switching images, but in order to keep the file size as low as possible and the compatibility as high as possible, I would like to do this without using these methods.
I am not sure it is relevent, but the page the thumbnails are on is linked to a .CSS file.
