I am in the process of building a site for a company and I’ve recently added an image map to the top header image.
This works fine in Firefox but in IE it breaks the page and adds what seems to be line break, under the image thus knocking my page out of alignment.

If I remove the image map the page lines up perfectly in IE and Firefox so I’m assuming its the image map code which breaks the page in IE.
Anybody come across this before? or have a work around or a fix for this issue?
