[?] Image screwed after rotating... Please help

Ok, so I made an image in Photoshop. Then I imported it in Flash (MX), but the image is screwed after I rotate it (72 degrees). I tried to import PNG (transparent), BMP and JPG, but for all three the same ugly result.

See: http://www.mvwd2.nl/flash/rotatingstar.htm (example with the PNG)

Hoe can I solve this?

Thanks a lot!

Niels

If you mean ‘screwed’ as in pixilated, I would go back into photoshop and see what resolution you used. If you used 72dpi, then that might happen. If not…not sure.

Yes I mean the pixels you see. Only the first and last frame are okay. I only used 72 DPI images, I now tried with a 300 DPI image, but same result. :frowning:

Anyone else?!?

you could make a pic of the start postion (that you use for rotating) - but also make a pic (in photoshop) of the end result. save it and stick it on the last frame of the animation. mind you, it will probably still be pixellated whilst it spins, but at least the end image will be clean

remember to watch the file size though!
